CHRIS HAS BEEN PROVOKED INTO RAISING HIS CONCERNS ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE HIMALAYA - IT HAS BECOME CLEAR THAT HE HAS FAR MORE FIRST-HAND EXPERIENCE AND DEEPER KNOWLEDGE OF THESE ISSUES THAN ANYBODY AND NECESSARY THE TRAINING AND EXPERTISE TO INTELLIGENTLY AND OBJECTIVELY PRESENT FACTUALLY ACCURATE EVIDENCE; WHY NOT READ WHAT HE HAS TO SAY AND JUDGE IF IT MAKES SENSE TO YOU, see: https://sites.google.com/a/shpa.org.uk/main/-save-the-environment-of-the-himalaya-blog. TOO MANY OTHERS, WITHOUT TRAINING, WRITE ABOUT TOPICS THEY KNOW LITTLE OR NOTHING ABOUT, WHICH THEY MISUNDERSTAND AND MISREPRESENT, OFTEN MISSING THE REAL ISSUES, BY CONCENTRATING UPON UNIMPORTANT TOPICS WITH SENSATIONALIST HEAD-LINES AND TABLOID-LEVEL CONTENT....!
Sadly, despite sharing a lot of rather 'private & personal' information on this web-site, it seems some individuals do not believe that Chris is for real or honourable. What do you think? The following words seem particularly apt, when I am faced by rich & powerful people who are ill-informed and dishonourable
‘This world’s a citty full of crooked streets,
Death is the market place where all men meets,
If life were merchandise as men could buy,
The Rich would always live, the Poor must die’.
Iver Parish Clerk - and Chadwell relative, 1729-1779
'TO SOW A SEED IS A NOBLE DEED..... PROPAGATION IS CONSERVATION..'
(Professor Norm Deno in SEED GERMINATION THEORY AND PRACTICE)
"PLANTS ARE WHAT YOU STAND ON WHEN YOU LOOK AT BIRDS"
So pronounced the president of a natural history society (almost all the other members were ornithologists) I joined 40 years ago - this helps highlight a major problem confronting anyone passionate about plants, hardly anyone bothers about them. It is the likes of PANDAS, ELEPHANTS, TIGERS and SNOW LEOPARDS which attract the attention of wildlife organisations and the media! Yes without plants and the habitats which require plants there would be no animals - whether herbivore or carnivore......
At present there seems no reward for dedicating one's life to noble objectives. I had thought I lived in a civilised society in the UK and that people could not act as "a law unto themselves". It is deeply disturbing to be treated unfairly, misrepresented and feel so powerless......
